Mono-centric energy independent self-adaptive both stance and swing phases hydraulic fluidic controlled knee unit. Default stance knee joint (like C-Leg etc.). Utilizes patented vortex technology.
Designed for K2-K4(normal use) levels of physical activity. Provides required safety functions for K2 and immediate adaptation to different activities for K3-4.

- Walking down slopes in a controlled and save “step over step” manner (immediate adaptation to inclination, clasp-knife effect compensation)

- Carry additional weight (heavy bag etc.) with immediate self adjustment (immediate adaptation to weight change)

Osseoinegration compatibility.
The VGK is fully compatible with osseointegrated prostheses.
- Compared to CPU knees, the VGK has an advantage: patient is not limited by battery charge. All its self-adjustable functionality is energy independent.
- Patient with osseointegrated prosthesis has heightened perception of all forces effecting on the prosthesis due to a nature of the implant. The VGK has an advantage: it dynamically absorbs terminal impact no matter what speed patient is walking at.
- Patient with osseointegrated prosthesis does not have knee flexion limitations caused by socket. The VGK has an advantage: the knee unit can be flexed up to 178 degrees.
