Portr_2-300pix-For more then 20 years I have had an opportunity to enjoy working as a prosthetist and doing research in this field, hopefully to my patients’ advantage.

In my job I make use of a number of current practices in prosthetics and have firsthand knowledge of advanced knee units.

I have always been aware of the yawning gap between ordinary hydraulic knee units and microprocessor controlled knee joints in terms of functions. On the other hand, I do realize that the use of microprocessor controlled knee joints was caused by the fact that some vital functions in knee units cannot be provided by normal hydraulic solutions.

Once I had a chance to acquaint myself with the VGK and its unique hydraulic technology. I must admit, at first I looked upon the reported performance specifications with a pinch of salt and held this view until the moment the manufacturer provided the unit for extensive clinical investigation. It was an actual use trial in urban and rural areas, inside buildings, at high activity, and at extremely low temperatures. To my great delight of a professional, this trial confirmed the features of the VGK.

I am pleased to represent this outstanding product in the Australian market and I am happy to know how many people can significantly improve their prosthetic outcome with the help of the knee unit that has similar functions with microprocessor controlled joints and is incomparably cheaper.

Sincerely yours,
